Approvals, authorisations and registrations

All operators working in the food chain in Belgium must be known by the Food Agency and hence be registered. Moreover, certain activities cannot be exercised without an authorisation or an approval.

The Royal decrees of 16 January 2006 and 30 July 2008 and the Ministerial decree of 08 August 2008 lay down the provisions that apply to registrations, approvals and authorisations.
